A chestnut filling perfect for cookies and cakes.
- 7 oz chestnuts
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- pinch of salt
1. Peel chestnuts and boil in water until softened.
2. Crush the chestnuts and boil in cream with sugar and salt until sufficiently thick.
3. For different consistencies, chestnuts can be crumbled or chopped finely.
