Plum Filling

A nice plum filling for cookies and cakes

Ingredients

  • 9 oz prunes
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Directions

1. Remove pits from prunes and cover in water, adding sugar, lemon and orange zest, overnight.

2. Boil on medium heat until liquids evaporate

3. Cool and process to puree
